JESUS

Actual Hebrew name: Yesh’ua ben Joseph.

“...Christ Jesus:” “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God” [Phil 2:5,6]

“But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” [Matt 5: 28]

Jesus had a tendency to overrule God's commandments:

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:” “But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smithe thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” [Matt 5: 38-39]

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” “For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.” “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” [Matt 10: 34-36] *see commandment 5.

Some forms of Christianity believe that Jesus has always been with God. However, God disagrees:

"Ye are my witnesses saith the Lord (speaking to Israel), and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me." "I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour." [Isa 43: 10-11]

Most scholars believe that the virgin Mary confusion began with an incorrect translation from Ancient Hebrew. In the original language, virgin meant “an unmarried woman”, not the contemporary meaning. Interestingly, since Mary was married, Jesus could not fulfill this part of the prophesy.

“And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her:...” [Gen 24:16]
